Re: Towing

Sport. Gear shift is slightly more appropriate. Quadralift remains at the same height slow or fast, which is better for maintaining the weight distribution hitch set-up.

Cheers,
Steve

Re: Towing

I've towed with our JGC in Normal mode with Eco off for 14k miles. Get an average of 15 mpg.

Re: Towing

The ECO button is on the bottom row of your center stack, just under the big Auto A/c button.

Re: Towing

Found it! Drove around clicking it on and off. Seems like a dead switch I noticed zero difference

Re: Towing

You'll find it becomes more noticeable when you tow .

Re: Towing

Depends on the type of terrain I tow in. Leave ECO mode off if hilly. Flat area's on.

Re: Towing

I use Sport when towing, with heavy utilization of the paddle shifters in the mountains...

Re: Towing

I tow in Sport until I get on the interstate, then I tow in Eco.

Re: Towing

Sport mode mode any time I'm towing. As Barboots said, maintains consistent tension on the weight distribution spring bars if you set it up in Sport mode, which is the same height as aero mode on the highway. Oh and liberal use of paddle shifters either in hilly terrain or traffic.

Re: Towing

Doesn't sport mode disable some of the traction control though?
