Re: Trouble free

12000 miles and no major problems. I had a P2BA9 "bad def" false alarm once within the first month of ownership but nothing since then. Knock on wood.

Re: Trouble free

8500 miles and it still brings a smile to my face everyday. I think its really fun to drive. I love the sound of the diesel engine and the great power. I also frequently think about how great the stereo sound is, and I really crank it up!! The driver assist features work really well and have spoiled me for any future vehicle purchase....I will want to have them.

Now that I have DOM's plate installed over the DEF system I feel much more confident I won't be put out of commission due to a rock or puddle of water....which is sure nice considering its a 4wd Jeep.......

Re: Trouble free

I love my GC too, although it hasn't been quite trouble-free in its 11K miles so far. Am happy for you folks whose GCs have been trouble-free, that is great. This one is my first Jeep. The new GCs are fantastic rigs.

Re: Trouble free

500 and discovered rear windows won't roll down regardless of the window lock switch being up or down.

Re: Trouble free

Check your uconnect settings for the rear windows. We have them locked out in uconnect on the Dodge Ram so the dogs can't "adjust" the windows with their paws but we can from the driver's door controls.

Re: Trouble free

We had 19K until we took it in for the two recalls. Now I have the dreaded P20EE.

UPDATE: The CEL went out minutes before when took it in. Dealer has order the parts. They are on national back order. The CEL has NOT come back on yet. So, maybe it was just a one time deal but who knows. Other than that we love the Jeep. Seats are a little firm and a tad short in the thigh but all in all it has been a good car.

Re: Trouble free

10k since Dec. '13 purchase. Summit Eco. 2 recalls - a sunvisor wiring clip, and ESP flash. Had 30% DEF at purchase; topped off at 1300 miles, still showing over 25%. Have had one exhaust regen. One oil change. One tire rotation, tires kept at 42psi, excellent treadwear, very good fuel economy, totally thrilled with the vehicle.

Re: Trouble free

I wonder if everyone with def problems are idling excessively and/or doing a lot of short distance and stop-and-go driving.

Re: Trouble free

Bought my Overland in September, besides a little bluetooth problem, no problem since then. I'm at 10,000 miles right after first oil change/tire rotation. Favorite car so far

48750 km (30300 mi) No codes, no shudders, nuthin' Nada, Zip. Thinking of trading in the Blutec for another one. Really impressed. Will not be going in for recalls unless it starts acting up.
