Correct - transmission figures it out for you and adjusts without you having to indicate tow/haul. Actually pretty cool - every time I towed the truck would start shifting later/higher almost immediately. When I drop the trailer and drive away it shifts like it still has the trailer and then a minute or so later it goes back to normal every day shifts.
