Just got a call yesterday. The regional parts manager is doing what your dealer did. To get the DEF fluid injector delivered from the supplier is over a month. However, to pull an entire DEF fluid system from production and ship to the dealer is just a few days. Apparently, they are delivered to production as a complete system and not individual parts. So to save time, they are going to install an entire new DEF system (I believe from the DEF tank back to the injector) instead of just the injector that I need. Should be back on the road Tues or Wed. I hope that you are enjoying your SFU. Hopefully, I am not too far behind you.

Re: Urea Tank Failure

Great news, congratulations!

I am enjoying my new ride more than the Lexus RX400h that it replaced.

BTW, what does SFU stand for?

Vernacular from those of us who were waiting since January or earlier to order these. Our hopes were dashed more times than I can think. It started as being more likely to see and own a Unicorn and then evolved into SFU.

I agree with you on the ride. Mercedes designed the suspension while they owned them. Mercedes is still using the same suspension on both of their trucks, for quite a bit more in cost.
