Re: Vulnerable DEF injector wiring!

This looks like it would offer enough protection fabricated from aluminum like the prototype. I'm in for whatever the final production version is and I will order as soon as it's available. Thanks for all of your hard work!

Re: Vulnerable DEF injector wiring!

I'm in.
I am thinking it might be a good idea if Dom42 is willing to do a Group Buy since many of us what this until our good buddies at Jeep can come up with something...

That looks great. I am in for one if you decide to make and sell them. Thanks for taking the initiative.

Re: Vulnerable DEF injector wiring!

Ok lets make them, but.....

Would really like to get 15-20 ppl who would like it just to make it worth the time. Easier to do a larger run vs smaller and will guarantee a lower price.

I can't speak for Scott but as this is not really a commercial venture, maybe ask him if it would be ok to start a "DEF Skid Plate Orders" thread just so that we all land in a common place and you can keep track of us. That way when I see people ask, I can point them there and I have had people in the camping trailering crowd ask.

Normally speaking you would need to apply as a Vendor and or post this in the items for sale section but this may be better suited in the EcoDiesel area.

PM Scottina06 and see what he says but that is my suggestion... if he gives his blessing then great, if not we can come up with something else that fits the forum rules?

Edit: Point him back at this thread and or quote my post to him.... really his call, bit of a special situation.
