Exclamation Water on my feet

Just left the dealership with my new limited 4x4 ecodiesel. My wife told me she had some water dripping on her feet. I changed into flip flops and drove and I literally had cold water pouring onto my feet when I made right turns. I crawled under the dash and saw a black hose coming out of the trans tunnel area on the drivers side with a white ring around the 45degree head. It was the cause and was pouring water when I moved it around. I could not see where it was supposed to connect to. Anyone have any ideas?

Jeep seemed to be running fine.

I will post pics tomorrow.

I already have an appointment on Monday for repairs...

Sounds like a loose condensate hose. Dealer should take of it. Does it drip if the A/C is turned off?

Yes, and it spills out, there was probably a gallon or more that came out yesterday.

You could reattach the hose to the condenser housing, or not use the A/C, haha! Who knows if the water is spilling on other electronics under the dash

It's 110 in Arizona right now so AC is a must, and I looked for a diagram of the condenser housing, with no luck. Dealership said they will take care of any damage as I notified them 10 minutes after I got it home. They had no tech's working so I am taking it in first thing tomorrow morning. I'll post how things go.

Re: Water on my feet

In case someone else has this problem it was the AC condensation tube. Tech's reported that it appeared it had never been hooked up correctly from the factory. Dealership fixed it and checked seals on the windshield and sunroof just in case. Problem fixed and now I'm just enjoying the ride!
