Weight savings on summit

I'm doing a cross country move from MD to CA in a few weeks and would like to tow my jeep. The uhaul auto transport has a max load of 5290lbs and the jeep has an approximate weight of 5375lb, I haven't weighed it yet.
Do you guys think if I were to leave it with less than and eigth of a tank of gas and put the spare tire in the uhaul truck that I could get it below the 5290 mark?
What other items would lighten up the load and I could store in the truck?

Re: Weight savings on summit

Well with a little over an eighth of a tank and no spare tire the truck weighed in at 5220. And yes that spare tire does weigh quite a bit
