Couldn't for the life of me figure out where a vibration was coming from so bad then put it on a rack today while changing the oil and all the filters. They said it's from inside the muffler. I'm at 65k miles does anyone know if I'm covered for that at all under any warranty or recall?
Is it just when it starts up? I can hear a weird vibration on the left back side. I was curious since it is loud, but never cared too much since I couldn't hear it inside the cabin. Also interested if there is something messed up that needs to be replaced ...would be my luck
I have it too on right rear. Same deal, inside the muffler. Asked dealer about it and they of course didn't hear it. Happens 50% of the time usually when I start it.
Yes mine is inside the muffler and once warmed up it tends to go away but it's getting worse. Seems like there are a lot here having the issue. Any idea what it cost to fix? What did the previous poster mean by trying emissions?
I believe the poster referred to the "Federal Emission Warranty". It is detailed in your warranty manual. Based on reading it, it doesn't look like the muffler is covered by this at all.
