So what is the longest lasting "wax"...aka Paint Protecting product that yields a descent shine. I know the best wax is the one you use regularly. I am not known for waxing more than once or twice a year and I don't wash more than once a month unless I run through mud or something.

So, I need something more for protection than show but want it to look good. I am going to hand wash, clay bar, then polish and wax it this weekend.

Gorgeous... the only difference between your truck and mine is the interior color (oops... and the CD). I got the full black. AND the fact that you have yours and do not have mine...

BUT ITS COMING!!!!!!!

Funny, as I wanted the Jeep Brown interior which moved me to the Summit. If I could have gotten that on the Overland that probably would have been my first choice.

Quite a few guys have mentioned Jetseal 109 from The Chemical Guys. (http://www.chemicalguys.com/Chemical...wac_118_16.htm) Supposedly will last 6 - 12 months and gives a really shiny/wet look. I will probably try this on mine. They have some good videos to show application.

rear tail light positions

Can someone give a bottom line on the rear tail light position fix? Is the dealer able to adjust them?
I went to two dealers today and looked at the tail lights on a dozen new Grand Cherokees. There were several different positions. A few had the common problem of the right, side light being inward nearly touching the light on the lift gate. A few had a gap at the top of the left side light. A couple had the rear lights correctly positioned.

Odd thing is my passenger side looks great. The driver side on mine is jacked up.

I have had good luck with Tech Wax 2.0. It is a polymer wax. My 06 Xterra's paint is like new (aside from where my ex backed into the garage door ). I usually wax 3-4x a year and claybar each fall and spring. Then it is easy to use a wet microfiber cloth to wipe it down and dry it in about 10m to keep it clean shiny. I have few if any of those annoying fine scratches and I am pretty particular about my vehicles.

Check the tailgate alignment in this case, mine was the same way and they can adjust the gate positioning if it is off.

You will probably note it is sucked in just a little too far on the left.
