Oh yes. This is an awesome truck. Half way home from koons and grabbing a burger. No, I am NOT eating in my new truck. Lol

Huh... that post was from hours ago. Pulled in to the garage a bit ago and noticed I hadn't hit the post button on it.

Gorgeous. Looks like the dealer did a nice job prepping.

My nuts were sweating shortly after I left the dealer... I was like, "wtf, I turned the temp down... oh shit... the wheels hot too... man this heated seat and wheel is toasty. where's the damn button to turn these off..." at 75 miles an hour down the highway in heavy traffic.

LOL

I freaking love this truck... BUT:

I freaking love this truck... BUT:

Simple fix. Follow the lines, and it looks like it is just the tail light the slightly needs to be dropped.
Congrats my friend. We just got to the Hotel in Houston. Brainstormer and his son picked us up, and drove us to the hotel. Pick up first thing in the morning - lets face it, I don't think I will be sleeping much tonight. Too excited

I have the same issue. The dealer ordered and installed a new tail light. Same fit. Will be shaving it down nightly to allow that corner to push in more and close up the gap on the side. There is not adjustment in the trail light.

I'm as obsessive compulsive if not more so than the next guy, just ask my wife. But when I look at the picture, it doesn't look that bad, or is it different in person? Are our expectations too high from something built on an assembly line? Just asking, I don't know what is normal. Even I tend to forget after a while about something that bugs the daylights out of me at first. I did send our checklist too my dealer so he knows what I will be using when I look over my new SFU. I've also been communicating with him about filling the DEF tank and other things so he understands my expectations before hand. It will be interesting....

Customer Service manager at Koons said they have had many complaints about it and escalated to Chrysler multiple times. They are hoping that Chrysler will come up with some ingenious fix idea.

The driver side looks bad to my eyes. My girlfriend doesn't see it unless I point it out and then she says it isn't noticeable. To her. To me it 's glaring obvious and the passenger side looks great, flush to rear side and a tight constant gap around the housing. Could be me being overly anal. But it is a very expensive vehicle and I want it to look nice.

fun2drive is just really nice
Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

Has the same problem on my Outback. I just loosened the nuts holding the tailight bucket in the truck frame and used pressure to move it over and tightened the nuts back. Alignment now excellent. Almost all of the mounting holes are supposed to be non adjustable but as mentioned above just a little dremel or file work and it is fixed. This is a common problem on virtually all SUVs I have seen. I think if you go to most any forum with them you will see this over and over again.
Shannon what is the white stuff on the ground? You can't be in MN yet. By the way I was born in ND way north from you in Grand Forks...
