I am sure I read somewhere that another was having this problem...Possible cause moisture in lamp...Not sure where I saw this...I guess I am of little help.

Your headlights need adjusting. You are blinding oncoming traffic. There are a few other threads where this was discussed. The civil folks adjusted their lights down and the jerks...well...you know the type.

I takes a long screwdriver from what I read.

First off back in the swing of things here again...

On the headlights.... if you have the projector lamps they cut off below the vision line of oncoming drivers pretty well. I haven't seen any from the factory wrong but I have heard the complaint. It is mostly that they are simply brighter looking and some people simply assume that your high beams are on. I don't think it is blinding anyone but certainly I get flashed more with the newer lighting systems (summit automatically adjust positioning and I still get the odd flash).

One person commented that the DRL LEDs were brighter than his last vehicles headlights overall so I can see how this may be an issue.

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

That turbo lag does take a little getting used to... I have to be careful not to over accelerate 'cause when the turbo kicks in I take off a little faster than I expected. Mileage has dropped down to 25.6 mpg. That is most likely due to city driving and a heavy foot. I am still used to the instant throttle response that my Acura had and the turbo lag is noticeable.

Did a grocery run last night and hit the remote start on the key fob while I was checking out. I was inside a large grocery store and probably 50 yards or so from the truck and when I came out he was sitting there idling like a champ.

Parked him in the garage and shut the big garage door (attached garage). A little while later the wife opens the door from the hall into the garage and was like "what the... oh wow, that thing smells horrible..." At about 275 miles on it so far it still has some crap to burn off I guess.

The "terrible" smell goes away after 300 miles or so. I smell nothing any more and I am bothered by smells!

This is my experience with my MY12 Summit, too...the lights are brighter and folks assume my brights are on when they are not. I've had the aim checked and they were spot-on.

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

Has anybody taken their trailer hitch cover off of a summit yet? Of course, there is no mention of this in the owners manual or guide. I undid the screws below but it still stayed on pretty tight. I am not anxious to break the cowling doing this the wrong way so did not pull too hard. Found some mention of it in prior posts but no pictures or video.

Also, has anyone found the heater block cord? I only did a quick check in the dark. No mention of this for the diesel in the manuals either.

Yeah, I'm seeing the occasional flash from folks. The HID's are auto leveling so there's little you can do (or honestly, should do). The Projectors are stationary, so, you can tweak those.

I did have one instance of a guy flashing me multiple times on the road the other day, I finally got fed up with it and flashed him back... he stopped flashing me... (not even sure if he had any retina's left afterwards...)
