It is behind a fuse box as shown in the photo posted by Brainstormer. See the post below.

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

I have one. Ordered 04/12/13 delivered 11/15/13 - Overland Eco-Diesel

First impressions are great. Was delivered with 12 kms on the OD. No issues noticed so far, tail lights are good. Was a bit nervous when the build sheet didn't have Quadradrive II on as I did not order the OFA2 but because it was a diesel it is included and it is indicated in the Options Report. Dealer said all the skid plates were on as well but I will confirm that tonight.

Awesome machine!!

Will have a review in a day or two.

Thanks very much for the link. As usual I was searching the wrong forum for information.

I used the existing hitch on my trade in on 3 of the 4 past weekends. Not looking forward to taking this off too many times.

When I stopped by my dealer to gave at the sheep (non diesels!) we looked at one of the summits and he undid both screws (I didn't see) and then was able to pull the cap off to show the hitch. It went back on fairly easy. Funniest thing was the Salesrep sating that he will have to show the other sales people cause most have been telling customers that the summit didn't have a hitch!

Anyone have their DEF gauge quite working.? I filled mine at a Pilot. The pump stopped by itself. I didn't overfill, I hope. The gauge showed 3.5 out of 4 segments...about 90%

The real question is this: Will my CRD keep running if the gauge says empty?

EDIT: I just restarted and it shows 4 of 4 segments....100% I may have overfilled. I'll update everyone if it does it again.

I didn't realize the truck stops had DEF pumps. This is good!

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

Well it's official, I'm a CRD owner as of 5pm CST. I only put a few miles on during the test drive and maybe 10 more getting home and haven't had any time to mess with all the settings so not really going to do a review yet. But I will say for those wondering about the diesel noise, this is my first diesel and I really hear it when I'm stopped or taking off but cruising at hwy speed it sounds like any other engine. All of my testing was done without the radio on as I was more interested in cabin noise and possible rattles then messing with the sound system right away. Now, just because it sounds like a diesel, don't take that the wrong way. It is not over powering and would not effect a conversation or your train of thought if you're just out driving. Again, my initial thoughts so far is I'm really like it and will spend more time with it over the weekend and maybe do a little more in depth review next weekend after I've driven it a few hundred miles. I do have a few pictures for vtail to drool over but they're still on my camera so will have to post them tomorrow.

Pilot has DEF at the big truck pumps for 2.69/gal with pay at the pump. That's a good deal compared to the 2.5 gal jug price at retailers.

Is the stuff they sell ISO 22241 compliant? Not sure how critical that is, but is what the manual calls for. Good info here on DEF:

Yeah, when you've come this far it's hard to keep telling yourself maybe tomorrow but we're all rooting for those who've been with us from page one and still waiting for that next day.
