Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

Just for the fun of it, I plugged in the ScanGauge and did a 0-60 run with the performance monitor. I did 4 runs (in sport mode) and got a consistent 7.4 seconds each time. Obviously not the same as taking it to the track, but it's an SUV ... does 0-60 really matter that much?

With the extra weight of the ORA2 plates, the 4x4, the weight of a 3/4 full gas tank, and the fact that the engine is still very new likely means that better times can probably be had with say a 4x2 limited, especially after several thousand miles.

I don't care too much about 0-60 - for me it's more about the butt dyno and whether it can do what I want onroad and offroad (which it most certainly can based on my driving so far) - but I was curious so thought I'd do a run. And 7.4 definitely is not shabby for a heavy SUV, especially one that can get upwards of 30MPG.

Hopefully they don't have to take 1/2 the car apart to get to where the cord installs.
I couldn't find my cord. Went to the dealer. The mechanic found it had fallen down into the engine compartment. Hopefully you'll have the same fate!

Thx. I'll make an appointment and have them look at it. If not, they'll have to order a new one.

Is there an orderable part number yet? Would love to get mine.

I gotta say, I'm really impressed with the audio in the Summit. I've got a '08 Infiniti G35x with the upgraded sound and it kicks ass. While car shopping I tried out the upgraded sound on the Audi Q7 and it didn't do as well as my 5 year old Infiniti. That being said, the audio in the Summit blows the doors off both my Infiniti ad the Audi (I think it was the Bose system).

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

So I might have a slight problem but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. Yesterday when going up a pretty steep hill I could hear/feel what I would describe as a pulsating noise coming from the drivers front wheel. I wrote it off as maybe a little wheel slippage and maybe the ABS was kicking in. But today I noticed it again while just driving, mainly at low speed and seems like it does it more on hills. I'll investigate further tomorrow but just wanted to get it out an see what you all thought? Also, on about 250 miles so far, I'm at about 22 MPG and I would estimate that as 80/20 hwy/city. I know it's way to early in the game to worry about MPG but hearing everyone else with 28-30 just seems a little odd.

I'm at about 22 - 23mpg at just over 1/2 tank left on my first tank. Lots of short trips, which is my typical driving, with some urban freeway driving. So I'm not surprised, but need to wait till I fill it to get an accurate read. My only issue so far is the Uconnect screen popping up saying "Vehicle Phone Requires Servicing - Contact Dealer". Twice now in two days. If it continues I'll have to have the dealer look at it.

Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. Same vehicle, pretty much same midwest fuel, so sounds like I'm average. Hopefully it just gets better with more miles and different blends in the summer.

Yes, Nissan/Infinity use Bose. I had an 01 Maxima and 08 G37 and while the system was acceptable it didn't really blow your socks off. Actually I thought the Maxima was a little better of the two I owned. I haven't really tested out the Summit yet, SXM is pretty faint so will have to test a few files on the phone but the HK system was one of the reasons I went with the Summit. The other day on my long commute to work I actually had to sit on a call so didn't get to play with the radio. I will say the integration of the phone is pretty nice and volume was ok even at hwy speed.

I drive 30-40 miles one way to work (depends on where I'm at that day). It's mostly interstate/highway driving. I've got mine in Eco mode and I've been averaging about 30mpg overall. I have just over 300 miles now and just above half a tank (haven't fueled up yet). I typically drive 72 in a 65 and at least 5 over everywhere else. Mostly drive in 45-65mph zones. I have a limited 4x4 with ORA 2.

fyi, if any Summit owners are trying to figure out how to turn on the headlight washers, I couldn't find anything in the manual about it. I did find this but haven't tried it yet:
