Willix posted a Uconnect update. There is also a Uconnect app update for Android this morning.

And a quick note to my Diesel Pals... delete all your Bluetooth pairings from both the radio and the device and pair all from scratch after the update.

There are some Bluetooth improvements that may cause issues with currently paired devices (I always advise this during an update but this time is especially important).

Thx

I will keep everyone up to date if it actually helps MPGs as it is supposed to boost cetane rating. (I am doing it for the low temp benefits)
Filled up...23.9 MPG per real calculation...since my truck used to get 15 MPG downhill and the wind at my back I am excited about this...and I only had to swipe my card once.

Did my fill up and added my diesel additive...initial thoughts are my instant MPGs seem slightly up from the initial fill but time will tell.

Someone did shout my way at the pump as I grabbed the diesel nozzle ...talked for a few minutes about it and they seemed interested. Only sad thing now is many people are unaware there is a diesel GC. (I am still the only in my city but I won't complain)

Postings on some non-JG forums and our own Shannon claim better milage with Kwik Trip diesel. This is a regional (IA, MN, WI) franchise. I called them and asked them the cetane rating. He said he'd call me right back, and he did. Bob said, "We have the best diesel fuel known to mankind and bananas for 39 cents per pound. I'll be watching for your diesel GC at our pumps." What a salesman. If I remember correctly, they use a 80% #2 and 20% #1 blend and add their own "gold" additives to the fuel. He said cetane was 42-45, which is a little above the typical 40 at many stations (Holiday, Pilot, FlyingJ, etc). Unfortunately, many of the higher cetane fuels are only available regionally. Please post your experience with different fuels.
Filled up with some Shell today. Also added some Stanadyne and did my first Fuelly update. Look forward to tracking my mpg!

We have a storm coming in, we've had flurries all afternoon. After driving around for awhile with the stock wipers, I stopped and picked up some Bosch Icons and some windshield fluid de-icer. The stock wipers were already struggling with just some light flurries.

Between the new tires, wipers, additive and de-icer, I feel sufficiently winterized

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

I'm freaking out right now. On my way to work just a few minutes ago, I noticed a knocking/vibration under my left foot which was flat on the floorboard. I only felt it while going 45mph or more and initially there was no sound with it. But about 20 miles in to my 30 mile drive, I heard a rattle that sounded like something is loose directly under my foot. It rattled multiple times while driving from that point on.

I'm at work now and will be able to check it out here very soon. But I'm not really sure what the possibilities are or if I'll even be able to see/feel what the issue is. It doesn't seem right. I can't get it in to the dealer until Monday, but I want to make sure it's safe to drive since I still have to drive home in the morning and return to work the following night.

And tips/suggestions from anyone? Much appreciated.

Re: Welcome ALL 2014+ Jeep Grand Cherokee Ecodiesel owners!

With the new U-conect update comes 4 new apps. I download them, and it added iHeart, Pandora, and 2 others. Have not used any of them yet, but I did download the package from the U-connect store. Nice to know they are still trying to improve the functionality of an already awesome system.

Someone posted about a suspension nut being lose. It was on either the ball joint or control arm. Might want to take a look at that.

Thanks guys. I looked at it a bit ago and didn't see or feel anything loose. I will double check and focus more on this area. I'm not sure what to do if it's not that, I guess the dealership will have to figure it out after that.
