When will K&N CAI be CARB certified

Have added K&N CAI on all my new cars. Sad to say no CARB number yet for 3.0 Diesel
Been very happy with K&N CAI my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee installed at 500 miles, had 205K no problem miles when traded in on 2015 Diesel.
Installed K&N CAI on new purchased 2001 Chevy S10 2.2 Sold running perfect with 175K miles. 2005 Tundra limited 4X4 running great 100K miles with K&N CAI. My C5 corvette also running K&N CAI with 150 HP shot of N20 with out any problems 40K Miles.

Re: When will K&N CAI be CARB certified

It could take years. I talked to an aFe rep on their filter CARB process and the guy said that the application is pretty simple but takes a looooong time before it gets the stamp of approval. What he suggested (trying to make a sale, of course) was just to put the OEM set-up back on before getting your state inspection done. Other than that, no one cares.
