Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

Have had mine sine 12/13. Only see one other which was parked at a hotel.

I've de-badged mine altogether. I still get the occasional head-shake at the pump when a larger truck is behind me.

Have only been "advised" that I was at the wrong pump twice.

Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

SE Wisconsin - other than the very few sitting on dealer lots, have yet to see one on the road, or at the pump for that matter. Ram EcoDiesels are another story and the exact opposite of the JGC.

That's funny, I was in Alameda with my EcoDiesel for the 4th of July parade.

I have seen an EcoDiesel once or twice around the Bay, but I think I've seen more 2014 SRTs than EcoDiesels.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

I've seen 2 others. Each new at dealers. 1 was ordered by my dealer who had to have one after riding in mine. The other was being prepped at another local dealer. I haven't seen in on the road.

I think the dealer allotment was spread thin across the country so there isn't a high density in any one location...yet.

On a side note....Autozone's computer says 3% of GC's are diesel. I thought the build allotment was 10%...not sure if that's overall it excluding Lorado models.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

I did a search of local dealers and didn't find a single diesel.

The other day I got a coupon from Jeep. $1,500 off a diesel JGC, and $500 off almost any other Jeep. Not that I'm in the market, but that brings the diesel a bit closer to the Hemi.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

I was looking for a diesel vehicle and was considering a VW Touareg or Audi Q5 diesel. One day I was on I95 and saw an EcoDiesel badge on a Jeep. I did mot know Jeep sold a diesel but after doing some research I ended up with GC diesel. Love it but I have not seen another one the road and I check every one.

I was on the Sonora pass on the 4th, the granite next to it for lunch, the trails behind the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center, Bodie Park in the afternoon then back over the Tioga pass in the early evening. So you wouldn't have seen me that day.

27.9 average for those who care, and it drove the same at 9900 feet as at 14, which is why I got the turbo diesel after all.

I wish I had spend more time taking pictures but we weren't anywhere special.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

Up here in Canada, they had a deal on where they were offering a free upgrade on the diesel Overland and I snapped it up. Love it. As noted, tough to tell what is diesel and what is not with that little decal until you are right up close.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

I've seen one in Orange County on the 405 but other than that nada. I see a bunch of 2014s but they're all gassers.

I did see two SRTs on my trip to Mammoth last week though
