Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

After 3 months of trouble free ownership. (Knock on wood) I have yet to see another CRD on the road in Central NY.

I figured by now I'd see at least one.

I did however see a Ram 1500 EcoDiesel at the gas station the other day. Didn't get to talk to the owner though.

Any of you guys seeing other EcoDiesels on the road?

I'm in CNY (Ithaca/Cortland area) too. I've seen one 1500 EcoDiesel too, but so far that's it. To be quite honest though, it's hard to see that little green badge on the road. :-)

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

One parked next to me and I noticed the badge. It happened to be an Overland the same color as my hemi version. I actually don't see a lot of '14s around here. I see more Cherokees.

Yeah. As soon as I see the LED DRL's pass me on a 2014 I'm always looking in the rear view to see if I can see the ecodiesel badge

I did have a twin to my jeep. (Cherry Red overland) gimme the wave as we passed on route 5 the other day. It was a gasser though

Honestly. Almost everytime I've filled up at a gas station I've gotten comments from truckers and drivers alike asking why I'm putting diesel in the WK2

So you're in the Auburn/Syracuse area?

I've filled up 4 times now and haven't received so much as a glance while at the diesel pump. Seems no one around here cares if I put diesel in my "gasser".

I did run into one gas station that has the super sized nozzles though. Wouldn't fit. I waited patiently in line behind a diesel pick up truck only to be disappointed. Fortunately they had one island with the smaller size too. I wish Jeep had made the filler large enough for those nozzles, it's soooo close.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

Can't say I've noticed any around here although I'm sure the dealer has sold a few by now. And like it was stated above, it's hard to see the little EcoDiesel badge on the rear as one goes by.

Re: Where are all the EcoDiesels hiding?

I suppose they'd be easier to spot if they belched black smoke out the rear.

I live in Omaha, haven't seen one locally.

Did see one on a roadtrip down south. I believe it was in Oklahoma. Brown diesel towing a uhaul.
