Re: Who regrets buy the diesel?

I'm quite happy with mine as well. With my long commute to work, I wouldn't have purchased the GC in any other form than the Diesel.

Re: Who regrets buy the diesel?

Love my diesel JGC. I did have numerous trips to the dealer for several items in the first year...but the experience was pretty good and no MILs since the cat replacement 3,000 miles ago. Only annoyance is the infrequent shudder due to carbon build up...but I am not going to have my engine rebuilt for a minor minor issue.

Re: Who regrets buy the diesel?

Absolutely no regrets. Our X5 diesel convinced us this was the way to go and the Jeep diesel is even better. The range on a tank of fuel....the torque...what isn't to like?

Same here. It all started with the good ol' 300D in 2005. Had an '07 WK CRD for a bit and now the WK2. Brother drives a Passat TDI and dad drives a Mercedes E350 Bluetec which replaced an E320 CDI, may it rest in peace.

Regrets? Over the engine choice, no. Although there are days where I get angry about the little missed details here and there on the WK2.

Re: Who regrets buy the diesel?

Absolutely NO regrets here. If/when I buy my next GC it too will have a diesel under the hood if still available. I LOVE it.

Re: Who regrets buy the diesel?

Sitting at 50,000 miles on my 2014 my only regret was not buying the skid plate sooner other then going through one injector they have been trouble free miles. Plan on hanging onto this for 200 to 300k

No regrets of any kind. My sixth Jeep... best one yet, except for maybe that 72 CJ. Nuff said!
