I've thought about this, but if they want to be jerks can't they just claim you must have put in some non-Mopar DEF as well, even though you bought some Mopar DEF?
I have thought about buying a DEF refractometer and "simply" draining the tank and refilling with fresh if there is ever an issue reported with the SCR system.
I keep DEF (that I purchased freshly manufactured) in my basement "DEF cellar" where it is stored under carefully climate controlled conditions. That way I know I am not using DEF that has been kept in a hot warehouse. I add it one 2.5 gallon jug at a time, keeping the tank between 25% and 50% full.
But you never know, given the problems with this SCR design... I don't want to have the fault of their bad system foisted on me due to some tech having a bad day.
