Black out the fog surrounds…but why listen to us when you clearly know what you're doing. Well done. Thanks for sharing the experience with us.

Encore!

Hey where did you find the pic of the granite overland with painted fender flares? I'd like to see some more pics of that jeep. Awesome build so far by the way.

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Really really great job on that. One question though; as far as approach angle, is that hindered by the collision warning feature?

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Chunder, that feature could be turned off when off-roading if it triggers improperly, but at very low speeds, I wonder if it would even blink since approach speed is part of the algorithm it uses for the warning...

Makes sense. Also, what about the actual module itself. When approaching a incline/decline, I would think the glass "eye" would get damaged too. Just wondering.

Man, that rig is just fantastic

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

I would hope that Z has the "eye" tucked back far enough that it's not any more exposed than it was in the OEM position...unfortunately, you can't fully protect it as you can't have any kind of screen or other barrier in front of it.

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Hey guys, I replaced the pics on page 10 with more "scene appropriate" images, and also with the new darker blue. Look's fantastic! People stop to look at my truck lol.

Also, here are some pics of the 2,000 Lumen fog lights. One from a medium height, and then one from ground level. The headlights are not on, those are just the daylight running lamp surrounds that you see in the photo's. All the light on the concrete is from the fog lights.

And the rear receiver:

Great job once again and seems like it took you no time to do it. I just noticed that you also removed the JEEP off of the hood. Nice clean look. Enjoy your JEEP. Do you think you can trail rate it now? LOL By the way took a little basic training in 1969 - 1970 at good old Fort Bragg, just before going to the rice patties. Fort Bragg Home of the 82nd Air Born.
