Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

You know Zybane, the more I think about it I think this would have been a project that would have worked better on an Overland. Just my opinion; but I'm behind you all the way because I think this is going to turn out great.

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Haha ya, all of this stuff was designed for the non-Summit versions. I had to have the Summit though, it has must features for me. I will get it done in the end, just a ton of work.

I also forgot that I have to mount and cut openings for the laser jamers and radar detector. Just when I thought I am getting close the goal post gets moved further back lol.

Well I can't wait to see the finished product. It took me almost a month and a half to make up my mind which model I wanted but after driving about 10 different GC's and looking at about 50, I went with my first choice; Summit, Deep Auburn, grand canyon brown inside and of course the diesel. It is suppose to arrive on or about the 31st of Dec. I feel it gets here when it gets here. I still have my 2006 GC, Hemi which I'm keeping because it has never been in the shop for anything other than an oil change.

Well can't wait to see the finished product. By the way do the leaser jamers really work?

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Cool, sounds like your truck is identical to mine besides the exterior color. As for the laser jammers, they do work if you go with the high end systems. If interested, check out laser interceptor. All of my stuff is custom built in. Be prepared to pay though, it isn't cheap! My Bell STI-R plus radar detector system and laser interceptor High Power cost 3 grand just for the parts.

Re: Zybane's "Arctic" Diesel Build

Zybane you seem to be doing an excellent job. When you start talking about azimuth it sounds like you are getting ready to zero in some artillery rounds. LOL

Keep up the good work and take your time, we just want to see a nice finished product.

Just out of curiosity... Will a bulb that bright melt the housing of the fogs?

Interested as well. What brand/model are the LED fogs?
