GM, Ford & Chrysler Warranty Trends

With all of the posts about quality concerns, I thought these articles might be of interest.

My day job is working with warranties in various industries. Though automotive is not one of those, articles regarding auto manufacturers are still often mixed in with the other news I receive...

The following 2 articles detail GM, Ford, Chrysler & Tesla's warranty accruals & adjustment. This is detailed stuff & I admit, a bit of a boring read but still interesting to show that while Chrysler's warranty woes are increasing, they are not as bad as most think & at least for now, GM & Ford are having more troubles....

Chrysler's & Tesla's Warranty Adjustments, 13 November 2014

Please don't make this thread into a fight that gets it closed, it's for informational purposes only & would like for it to stay available for any interested....

I hope many will see it as GOOD news that they don't have to be as concerned about future warranty issues as they once thought. Though its increased, 2.5% is still a low number.
