Better than the cherokee but the front end looks really low. That interior is very nice tho.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I like the idea of a compact with reasonable 4WD capability and a little more ground clearance than most of the current offerings. It's the kind of thing I might want for some family members who live in an area with poorly maintained roads and cold winters. That said, I wouldn't get one of these for myself. Something closer to a compact version of a Grand Cherokee might grab me, though.

I've spent enough time in the corporate world to know that you should never assume they'll do what makes sense to you. The accountants might decide that buyers really just want more front-drive crossovers.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

If sales of this and the Cherokee help to keep Jeep solvent so they can continue to produce the JK, WK2 and possibly a pickup, then I'm good.

That's what the cherokee is supposed to be.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I kinda have mixed feelings on this model. Looks wise, to me anyways, looks like a cross between the old international scout (Front) and a Kia soul in the back.

I kinda dig the interior in the pics I seen with the red inserts and the flame redline area on the tach.

One thing I noticed, is if someone wants to put bigger tires on it, the wheel wells look pretty cramped.

The approach, breakover, and departure angles are better on the Renegade in comparison with the Cherokee, but those don't always tell the whole story when wheeling.

But nevertheless less show jeep tried to make it more off road oriented so therefore all the other factors should follow suit.

So was the old 2CV, as long as you didn't mind being outrun by turtles, glaciers, flowing glass, etc.

It really pains me to say it because I love my jeep, and have loved every jeep up to date, but this thing just looks goofy. I'm not a huge fan of the new cherokee either. But I guess there just my opinion.

AS LONG AS THEY DONT MESS UP THE NEXT GRAND CHEROKEE!!!
