Milous, I agree, if you combine that one, and the Allpar rendering, you get pretty close.

Except not as cute.

It's a tough looking lil thing. :)

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I cant believe no pics have made it out....
Me too.

Figured with this being such a huge release, that somebody would have slipped up by now.

Of course, not Milous...

I was thinking Jalopnik...

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I'm watching a video of it too. It's got a pretty cool exhaust note for a 4 cylinder.

Milous, any word on that 3.2L Pentastar V6? I heard it won't be available at all. :p

Oh, and someone snitched the name. Grr... Two people actually.

OH!!! ONE MORE THING!!!!!

Chrysler is still focusing on the 2014 Jeep Cherokee and the 2015 Chrysler 200 launch for the 9spd 948TE Transaxle. We have heard no plan of producing more 948TEs for any other Jeep model. This is the first I've heard of a BU. However, ZF in South Carolina may know something about this.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

Looks like a cross between a RAV4 and a YUGO ( for those unfortunate souls old enough to remember them)
Considering some of the things I've done in my life, I feel very fortunate to be old enough to remember them. And I made it this far without too many regrets.

I knew it was gonna be Jalopnik.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I remember the Yugo. But the photo made me think more of the older Subaru Foresters than the Rav4. I'd compare it to the unfortunate result of a meeting between a Yugo and a Forester behind the dumpster at 7-11 (maybe with a Suzuki Sidekick peeping at them around the corner of the building).

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

The one from travisk doesn't look tooooo bad, but the one from jalopnik is hideous!
Sorry that you think it's hideous. :(

Not too bad. It is pretty Jeep-like, which is good.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

The Cherokee has a different look than the Grand Cherokee, and this has a different look than both of them. But, unless you've been living on Mars for the past 50 years, you can't look at it and not know it's a Jeep.

I think the Jeep designers are doing a great job of covering the SUV landscape.

While I don't think I'll be in the market for one, I am looking forward to seeing them in person.

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I do wish they hadn't called it the Renegade. The name carries a lot of weight, and, just like the new Cherokee, I don't think it is worthy of the name (not to say either one is bad).

I think it's cool too. It'll be a nice little city sur for all the old cities in Europe and Asia with narrow streets. I think it'll sell like hot cakes. I May Get My Wife OR Daughter one

Re: All-new 2015 Jeep BU

I was afraid to mention that it sounds like a Panda platform Jeep. Italy. Go figure.
Uh, it's NOT based on the Panda and is so big that it can SWALLOW a Panda with room to spare.

Not many people realize exactly how small the Panda is...
