Exclamation Grinding noise help

My Jeep Renegade with 16000 miles has developed a really loud metallic grinding noise, which seems to come from the front. Any ideas as to what this is? I'm worried that if I drive it to the garage it might cause more damage.
Love the car-hate the noise.

Re: Grinding noise help

Welcome to the garage.
Did you already have a look under the jeep? Could be a stone or other debris stuck between a brake disc and the dust shield for example.

Waterlooville, I would recommend taking the vehicle to your local certified FCA dealership to be diagnosed. If you need assistance setting up an appointment please send us a PM.

Thanks,
