The next boat it might be on is the Tamerlane, which is scheduled to arrive in Port Kembla on the 23rd December, which isn't too bad, considering that I'd become resigned to not having it until early in the New Year.
How frustrating Julian.
It's so annoying to see it move sooooo slowly on the line. It would be interesting to see just how the whole logistics of the receiving (from the rail yard) and subsequent loading works. Obviously there are things that need to happen that we aren't privy to. Hang in here.
An update on the KL.
I found my key fob. In a hidden place under the wiring loom/harness of the passenger seat that was only reachable by the tips of my fingers, blindly stumbled across and finally hooked out by my little pinkie finger.
Happiness and dealer visit cancelled.
In other news - 1000kms now after 11 days and sweet as. (Kiwi expression
Fuel economy has dropped to 7.1 (it started at 11.8 upon delivery) so that is a big decrease over the week and am expecting it to drop a tinsey bit lower and then settle.
Start/Stop function got an absolute work-out today ie: every couple of hundred metres ie: Sydney inner city on a Saturday morning. It worked a treat and never faulted. I lost count of the times it kicked in.
In a crawling line of traffic with stops and starts, if you do not exceed 7kms/per hour between the stop and start, then Stop/Start will not activate. Read it in the manual a few days ago and tested it today.
Transmission - smooth as smooth.
Auto headlights - Fast and accurate entering shaded/undercover areas and subsequently unshaded areas. This is a problem sometimes on the GC but the KL appears to have this feature tightened/calibrated better.
Remote Start - works well.
Qi wireless charging - Have the iPhone hooked up and works well.
Very very happy with the vehicle.
