Locky, just looking at the original Vehicle Information/Equipment printouts from the dealer handbook (from May 2014) that I have, there is no mention of the heated steering wheel at all, even within the Lux group as it was originally listed. Was this even an option? Who told you it was?

With regards to your QI wireless charging cradle - it works but you need to purchase a QI card that plugs into your phone. This is the one that I bought for my HTC phone:

Re: Australian MY14 KL Cherokee thread

It sounds like the demo vehicle had the QI cradle installed in it already which is why you could just drop your phone in. If you look at the JA website KL spec list it states:

Quote:
Wireless charging pad (requires compatible Qi cradle, available from leading electronics retailers)
Re: the heated steering wheel. I wonder if the salesman was confusing it with the Grand Cherokee? We have that on our Overland.

I don't think we have the heated steering wheel in the Cherokee in Aus. I have seen it mentioned in the US version. (I was wrong about the Lux and MY15, so....)

Try this link That should show what recalls are outstanding on your VIN. Not sure if the transmission updates would be included or not though

I've got a G3 and it's working with the QI charger. It seems to be a pretty low charge though. (Lower than my Qi at home) Initially I was putting it in the wrong way. Had to flip it 180 degrees for it to work.

I thought that the MY15 with tech pack should have the cradle installed already?

Edit: First month in and we've already covered over 2k kms. All good so far. Trips to the petrol station is a pain though, but I'll live with it

This is one thing I would really like. Easy way to see if the car is locked.

It would only need software to achieve so here's hoping Jeep upgrade it.

As another Luxury pack owner (honestly wouldn't have bought a KL if I couldn't get vented seats), I think we also have rear view mirrors that dip in reverse that no one else has... No mention of that or the memory seats in any brochure though.

Mine was said to be one of the last with the Luxury pack. Boat arrived in Jan 15. According to the build sticker, it was, like yours manufactured in November 14. Probably came on the same boat.

Re: Australian MY14 KL Cherokee thread

Hey softsand

I noticed my mirrors dip yesterday thought it was very cool!

I also like how the fog lights come on when turning left or right

I do have a query that I'm sure you can all help on

What kind of litres per 100ks are you getting?

I'm currently sitting on 15 and thought that was pretty high

I have been watching the metred thing through the evic and noticed that when I'm driving at about 10km and hour it will say I'm using 97l per 100km thought that was weird I took some photos and will try to post them online tomorrow

I used to have the mirror dip on my MkV Golf GTI. I think it comes with memory seats on the Cherokee, so we don't have it. (Lucky you!!)

I've got it down to about 11l/100kms when driving out of Sydney, but around Sydney, I'm around the 14l/100kms. Life of the car it's 14.3l/100kms. (2500kms total, so it's not that far as yet)

It's had mostly 95RON fuel, but 1 tank of 91RON (stuck without 95RON at the service station)

I'm getting 7-7.5 litres/100kms after 8,000kms. Of course I did pay $5k for the privilege - but from your consumption I might save that in fuel !

Is it just the diesel that gets laminated front door glass now ? I suppose there is always the AD2 and the rear cargo mat that made the extra outlay palatable !

Moparamerica.com

Have used them in past and shipping was reasonably priced with quick delivery. Just looking at the site now - I see that the dog carrier is priced at US$133.40
