Okay, so we got the S55 Recall and my beloved wife freaked out about it; vowing not to drive the KL until the recall is sorted.
However through necessity my wife is forced to continue to drive our KL and just as I anticipated, there still has been no dramas from our Cherokee; despite the S55 recall. I mean, FCA don't actually say "don't drive the car" in their recall letter.
But I'm glad to read those recent comments from Senior Members in the WK2 "Media Thread" about it. Thanks SJ&L
et al, :-)
Anyhow our KL is going in for the 24 months service next week, so I'm sure that they'll do the diagnostic test for the S55 recall; if not I'll ensure that they do. I'm hoping that like SJ&L's
KL, that our vehicle is okay and doesn't require the replacement harness. After nearly 2 years our Cherokee has been faultless, so here's hoping that this recall doesn't ruin our run :-)
