I feel like all these spy shots are just the 2017 wrangler. It doesnt look any different than my 2012 wrangler unlimited.
Why would they be testing the 2018 when they have not even released the 2017.

It is the 2018, which is different and evolutionary. It's a new platform, which takes time to develop and test prior to launch. This is the norm in the industry. The 2017 has not been officially released, but is basically unchanged save for a few enhancements.

Uconnect 4.0 ???

I now wonder if the JL will be getting FCA's fourth-generation Uconnect infotainment system, Uconnect 4.0, with its addition of both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. And the addition of Jeep's Off-road Pages, coming on the 2017 Grand Cherokee.

Re: 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL

The biggest question I have for the JL is what will the towing capacity be? Will it finally get at least a 5000 lb rating? Could that happen only with a fixed roof version? Maybe only with the diesel? Hope we don't have to wait another year to get the answer.

Is there any change to the 2017's? Haven't heard or seen anything suggesting small changed.

Anyone know what the power soft top will be like? If it goes all the way down, I may be willing to sell off the Mustang and buy another Wrangler!

Re: 2018+ Jeep Wrangler JL

Looking at all these pics, I can't tell much, but it really seems like that windshield isn't a folder anymore. Smooth hood and the glass comes quite low.
