Allen also pointed out that this was Jeep’s first pickup concept with a crew cab configuration, which suggests that the upcoming Wrangler pickup will feature four doors.
I've always dreamed of having something like a Brute since i was in college. When i first heard the rumor and then announcement that there would be a wrangler pickup in 2018 i decided that this was what i would get next, and i would wait for it. I was so filled with anticipation and excitement that it was such a crushing blow to me when they moved it from 2018 to 2019 that i could take it. I altered course to make my dream a reality and just ordered a 2017 unlimited recon edition. I'll now wait and see what the truck is like and if the first model year has issues etc etc and might sell the wrangler in 2020 or something and then get the pickup.
Been looking to move to a pickup for daily driving/general work/Overlanding. Was about to make a move on either a 1500 or Tacoma, then remembered this was in the works. Looks like I'll be holding off to see how this pans out
I'm pretty f'n stoked for this! I better hurry up and pay off my WK2 (bought last year), and be ready to buy a '20. I'll end up with the diesel 4 door.
