Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

...so I have 18 months or so to save up what sounds like a consensus of about $90k for a vehicle I probably actually fit in well with awd and 707 crank hp, has some great leather options, etc, etc? I've been pretty impressed by current SRT interiors, so this one can't be worse. I don't care that it has the names "Jeep" and "Grand Cherokee" on it (in terms of reliability), I'm in for taking the chance on it. Bye, bye 2006 GTO!

Don't we have some folks on the board here that are dealer types? Wonder how far down one of their lists I'd be if I said "give me an address to send a deposit to!" (if they'd take deposits this far in advance). Seems somebody like that could probably work a deal that'd even allow me to fly somewhere to get it...

Me wantee.

If all u want is that number, at the crank, than you are correct. But for the money I don't think it's close to best deal when look at whole package.

I made the statement because you stated "power". I still disagree though at a full package at 100k there well be nothing close. Maybe you can list the vehicles that would be a better package at that price range.

Check my post again. I said great power. Pretty hard for you to know what I mean by just that statement. There are too many cars to list that, have amazing power and fun to drive for that dough, too many to list. Even the challenger with same hp is cheaper so there.

How donu get that? The cayenne tt is 130k+ for more than 150 less hp. The interior is nice if u like a single button for every operation. The simple elegant style.of the srt has win awards for best interior. Simple is best over awkward high tech sometimes. The 8.4an is really really good and controls almost everything at a voice command. The x5m is over $100k and 200 less hp. Ok interior if u like that bmw stuff. Im not a euro...so its not for me.

The trackhawk will be the.most awesome bang for buck suv maybe ever. Thats a fact.

I agree with you about the interior and u connect but that isn't specific to the hellcat. U can buy a Limited with all those features that make the interior and infotainment so great. Going from 35k price to 100k in engine and performance parts is my issue. 65k difference in price from a limited. 35k difference from non hellcatted trackhawk, which for the buck will still remain best deal. Best bang for buck? For 100k it's a big bang. What made the SRT great was it was a decently priced suv that would compete with the significantly more expensive models from europe. Now u have an expensive model jeep (6 fig) that beats the other expensive models. Nuff said.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

Cayenne TT is $110-115k. That's what I've been able to negotiate with decent options. The S is hardly better and way overpriced. I love Jeep and always have. I had the first true SRT jeep, the 1998 5.9limited back in 1998. But I'm not happy with Fiat or the business decisions being made. Now they may surprise me, drop the low level SRT jeep all together and offer a well equipped SC jeep at $80k. I doubt it but could be wrong. If they do that they might have my attention.

Wow, you are comparing a Challenger and a Jeep Grand Cherokee. That is some pretty broad cross shopping. Seems like a reach to make your argument.

The trackhawk will not be 100k and there are huge differences between a 65k srt and the 35k Limited. Not even going even further....lol

Haha Amen Scott. I mean it can't be. My damn Bluetooth and my SDcard don't even work hahah. My passenger seat rattles like a '86 VW. they have a lot of work to do to get to the 100k range. 80-85 tops

I get what your saying but on the other hand do BMW/Porsche seats never rattle? I just don't understand the pedestal people put the germans/luxury brands on.

It's more about the treatment you get when purchasing a car of that cost. My mom has a cayenne gts and wen her car is in for service she gets a cayenne in return for a rental. That's all part of buying an expensive vehicle. Same way with Benz and bmw. When it comes down to it it's still a jeep and I don't think the brand itself has the right to charge 100k on s vehicle.

now 80-85 grand is a different story. either way i guess its all speculation until we start seeing pictures of it. but judging by what they did with the hellcat charger and challengers.... its not like they really changed alllllll that much on the inside. different wheels and a bigger motor... obviously some smaller other odds and ends but we will see connell.... only time will tell my man! when you coming to philly!!!!!!!
