It's possible they could make the sunroof optional. There were some 'high speed' issues with the Challenger sunroof that required some re-engineering, in that regard not sure if they will offer the dual-pane or not. It's also possible they will make some the current Standard features Optional.

So, I'm guessing that would be a tentative order date of late 2016, probably December, delivery maybe March timeframe of 2017?

That would follow close to the 2014 release path... Original order banks opening was supposed to be Dec but got pushed to January...

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

Some people can stop being righteous, base MSRP does not include destination or many options. Nor does it include tax, title, registration, fees. Your MSRP + destination+ a couple options + tax + title+ fees + registration will easily be in the $90's. That's what everyone stating that has said the final OUT THE DOOR price will be. Milous even just said in the $90's earlier today.

If this turns out to be a 1 year only model, ADMs will be through the roof and FCA won't be able to do anything to stop it.

I'm not sure about mark ups.... I have a dealer that never sells over msrp. They are still selling challanger hellcats at msrp. They also seem to get a rather large allocation.

They even sell normal SRTs at a decent price. They have a 15 SRT jeep on the lot right now with a sticker of 71,100 and it's green tagged at 65000.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

I'll be shocked if they sell a lot at $95k loaded OTD. Shocked. Then again with 60 month and 72 month financing readily available nowadays, there are oodles of irresponsible people living in apartments (or shitty homes on 30 year mortgages and 0% down) who will stretch everything to buy one. I guess time will tell.

If I can get one for $80k brand new +TTL after the buzz has faded I might consider it. Otherwise I'll be looking into the Wagoneer (as I hate Range Rover) or possibly the X6M. I was thinking Cayenne TT but after seeing a brand new X6M my feelings have shifted.

FTR, when the 14 came out I always said it was worth the asking and that it would sell well, and it did. I also said the 12-13 would not sell well and they didn't.

Prepare to be shocked. They will sell every single one they make. And dealers will make a killing on them.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

I wonder if trackhawk will have a different emblem.

I hope the panoramic roof is an option. I would drop that immediately. I'd also never want to track an SUV so special brakes aren't needed either. I could see just getting a base vehicle. The special sound system really isn't that much better and I'd rather listen to the motor sing.

I'm still hesitant to spend $80k on a Chrysler but if it actually holds its value it might be a no brainer. My 2006 Mitsubishi Evo is worth more today than when I bought it. So it can happen.

Are you talking about the one we talked about? If so, I didn't even think of asking them about the Challenger Hellcat.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk

Is it definitely only going to be a one year car? Will the v8 really be dropped by 2019?

Were you able to make Vegas and get any pictures of the TrackHawk or Grand Wagoneer?
