Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk w/6.2l SC???

I'm all for next gen Hellcat but please no RWD mode. I had an issue a while back where I was stuck in RWD. The novelty wears off VERY quick. AWD or bust! Leave the RWD for the Charger and Challenger

Agreed. Definitely cant see the point of forcing RWD in High Power mode...

I am sure many would want the option to switch to RWD, for the occasional smoke show or for the very skilled driver it might be better for a road course but for most of us, it needs the AWD to really put it down.

It was a joke based on the article from car and driver. They would never.do that in a jeep.

Detonating drive trains, or is that not supposed to be public?

LOL, I'm failing to see what the competition is here that you are hoping to win. The 6.2l in a Jeep isn't some big secret. The timing of when it may occur is the big question.

I have heard these stories about who's got better secrets forever...and you sound just like every other internet warrior out there -

I would bet a lot of money on a blown 700 + HP SRT being available for order within 12-14 months from now...regardless of your alleged "sources".

Unless you work at a high level at Chrysler - you know nothing more than anyone else.

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk w/6.2l SC???

Just to feed the rumor mill a bit more on this issue, I attended the Denver Auto Show yesterday and spoke with the Dodge rep who was monitoring the Challenger Hellcat on display. According to her, the Trackhawk is in the works, but no word on timing and no 'official' release date...so enjoy the further speculation.
