I don't disagree with your timeline, but I also don't really see the German makers (or Range Rover) coming out with an SUV pushing nearly 800HP...At least not less for $150K at a minimum...the X5M is already north of $110K if you option it out.

There are no plans in the works to bring out a 300 Hellcat.

That's too bad. I really like the 300.

I was quoting from this website:
2016 Chrysler 300 SRT spied undisguised in Michigan

Can you confirm they are incorrect Milous?

I'd be hard pressed to think your sources provided you better "secrets" than mine. I've been involved with the "Hellcat Mess" for months and not afraid to take things up the chain........
You wanna talk about taking things up the chain, I received my Challenger Hellcat just about on my birthday, April 5th. Went racing in Vegas that weekend and then to Irwindale where a guy set up my "Custom" settings on the monster so I could get a decent launch. Ran a 0-60 in 3.3, 60' 1.668 and 1/8th in 7.233 @ 98.47. After that run I had to see what it would do in the 1/4 so that weekend we went to Fontana. Bottom line I blew the drive shaft on the first run, had it towed in to local dealer thinking they would honor warrantee under any conditions. Well I was wrong and they wanted $6000.00 to repair it. They said they had to replace the exhaust, gas tank, etc. I went ballistic and told them to stop everything and that I was sending a flat bed to take it to my personal mechanic and I sent off an email to Ralph Gilles with the estimate and a pretty long message about Dodge advertising the 10 second car, his smoking the tires in front of the grandstands at a drag strip on Utube, etc.

Two days later I got a call from the Service Manager. He said, "Mr. King, we are going to repair your Hellcat at no cost to you". I asked him if it was being repaired under warrantee, and he said, "All I can tell you is I got a call from Dodge headquarters instructing me to fix you car, no charge, get it done pronto and that they would fly any parts in if necessary". When I picked up the car 3 days later he came out and asked me if I knew Mr. Gilles. I told him that I had met him a few times and that he had actually signed my 2014 Jeep SRT sitting in the service drive up and that we had exchanged emails regarding this situation. He said, "I figured that as I have never had anything like this happen in all of my time in this organization. And someone owes me over $4000.00 to boot!"

I wrote Ralph a "thank you" note and received the following email in return.

Glad it worked out...take care of her and she'll take care of you." /><O></O>

I'm pretty sure that was a cryptic message meaning - Don't ask again!

Pretty amazing guy. I'm a Mopar guy for life. Always have been. Always will be.

I agree about the message. I think he was happy to stand by the car once, and help you, but don't do it again. Ralph's a great guy and it's unfortunate that he's not running the show like a couple years ago. Kuniskis comes off like a good guy, but the more this has gone on and the more this has turned to one of the most ridiculous cluster***ks I have ever seen in car rollout/buying, the more I think Kuniskis is a company man instead of a true gearhead (like Ralph). of course he'd refute it, but listen to some of this quotes over the past year and since this problem has happened and there is proof he is a straight up LIAR.

There are thousands of guys still without a car, still havign cars ordered after theirs built, still curious WTF is happening to their car ordered with an A8 that they now have no more transmissions for the rest of the year other than those already planned for build....and then more like me who had their dealer STEAL their order and change it to a manual so they could get the car instead of having it roll over to a 2016.

I found and bought the Charger though at a nearby dealer in 1 day. Stars aligned, barely a markup, and now I actually like the Charger better than the Challenger. Was going to keep the Challenger order too but with them stealing it and changing the transmission and color I just asked for my deposit back. If I continued to try and "get back" at them, it would just increase my stress and eventually lead me to doing something crazy probaby LOL

Re: 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee TrackHawk w/6.2l SC???

I heard somewhere, maybe here, that there is a shortage or underproduction of the supercharger itself.. Is the hellcat problem due to supply chain shortage? The charger is the real star of the hellcat show and it's almost unicorn status. Did they grossly underestimate the demand???

SC's are not the issue, there are some supply constraints on the A8 transmissions. This has not greatly affected production totals of the Challenger as they have temporarily switched to running a higher percentage of 6-speed manuals. Charger Hellcat production of course has been affected as the A8 is the only trans choice.

As far as the "real star of the show", demand for the Challenger has been far higher than for the Charger, although Dodge is heavily back-ordered on both vehicles. But they are catching up, slowly but surely - the 5,000th Hellcat will roll down the assembly line very soon, and there's still 4 months to go in the '15 model year.
