Re: 2018 Grand Cherokee WK2 Trackhawk information thread

$70k for 2017 or $80-90k for a trackhawk. But...the 6.4 will be available in 2018

Re: 2018 Grand Cherokee WK2 Trackhawk information thread

My opinion is you can't go wrong with either....I just hit 80000 miles on mine and couldn't be happier with it. Puts a smile on my face everyday. Faster than 97% of cars in my area from a stop due to AWD. I will definitely get another SRT but I want to be faster than 99% of cars from a stop...LOL

I'd wait. The way the SRT's seem to depreciate you'd take a big hit if you wanted to upgrade to the track hawk a year later.

I wouldn't do anything next year. I would either wait until next year and buy an '18 or buy the '17 now and wait a few years for an upgrade.

Wait for the track hawk. Because you know you're going to want it.

I still wish they'd come up with a better name.

Just buy a 2017 and put a flux capacitor on it. Then you can drive into the future and the Trackhawk won't be able to do that.

Re: 2018 Grand Cherokee WK2 Trackhawk information thread

The only downside to the trackhawk, and you'll all say you don't care is the gas mileage. On the Hellcat when I had the chance to go all out for half an hour, that was half of the gas tank gone.......,
I'm sure the Jeep will be just as thirsty at full throttle. And we all know that whenever you have a chance, your flooring it

By comparison my 17 SRT feels like a miser

Depends what you are using it for....Mine is a DD company vehicle...so it has to function as a mobile office for me..every day. I find the 475+/-HP adequate for what I need it for!

Mine*is also a DD vehicle, taking the kids to school, going to the office, hauling ass on the way up to the mountains! As much as I would love the TrackHawk,*current SRT*power plant is more then adequate .

Unfortunately my purchase is on hold for a bit, I think I will wait for the '18 changes to be posted then decide if I wait or go with the '17. I do know this, my*next purchase will*be the SRT!
