It's really amazing how fast you get used to 475hp and then wish it had more. Even just getting to the office.

Congrats, I may end up doing the same thing, but I want to wait to see the Trackhawk's official numbers.

BTW, what kind of deal did you get ordering your '17 SRT?

This is what worries me. I went from low 200hp in my previous vehicle to the 360 in the Overland and want more. I can only imagine what going to 475 will do to me

Thank you Sir!
Pricing info is not available on a 2018 model and I am sure Milous wouldn't be able to give that info even if he did have it.

I think you can safely assume pricing yourself by simply looking at the Charger HC cost differential compared to the SRT model.

Charger Hellcat - $67,645
Charger SRT - $50,995
difference - $16,650

Jeep SRT - $65,695
Jeep HC - assume anywhere from $79,999 to $85,000 starting price

Don't forget the dealer markup. I looked at a few Hellcat Challengers last time I got service done and they had a $20,000 markup on each one

I hear you!
My game plan is to pay MSRP for Trackhawk, otherwise I will order the '17 SRT at 2% below invoice.......

20K mark up is ridiculous (IMHO) at $105K you are in X5M territory.....

yikes! chally and charg hellcats can be had around here for $1-3k off MSRP easy...location certainly affects pricing strategy they use.

Exactly. A buddy of mine just snagged a 2016 chally hellcat for $1k off msrp. Dealer says they aren't moving as well and was ready to deal.

Re: After much deliberation I am going to put the SRT order on hold.....

Keep in mind they have been out for awhile and it is a limited use vehicle (coupe/rwd).
Jeep is a grocery hauler and AWD with a lot of pent up demand etc..remember when the original SRTs came out??

Not sure how much demand it will have at $100K,.(if dealers start playing games with the MSRP.)

Yea at that high of a price id rather have a Range Rover Sport SVR or x5m with plenty of power and dealership service dept that don't look and operate like crap, get loaners, and come with a status symbol that jeep clearly will never have.

Re: After much deliberation I am going to put the SRT order on hold.....

You perhaps have never owned either brand? I have, and add a few "prestige" brands to that list. I can tell you the best service department ever is the one you seldomly need to visit. They all pretty much suck, so choose your poison wisely. This vehicle is not about "prestige" or making your neighbors blush, it is a niche vehicle, not designed or marketed for the masses. So if u feel the need to impress, join the masses and buy the BMW or RR...enjoy the free coffee and loaner cars, but trust me on this one, it gets old quickly....
