The nissan GTR can do it so SRT should be able to figure it out.. if not they can always sub contract Nissan 😂

You have to factor in the warranty though. That's a biggie there. It'd be nice to know your procharged SRT Jeep was covered under warranty if anything goes wrong, but unfortunately it's not.

The cost benefit analysis heavily relies on tje reliability of the aftermarket mods & how the Jeep handles them. Some people have no issues, others blow engines. It's definitely a gamble. Also, resale would be higher for tje factory supercharged vehicle versus the aftermarket one. The Hellcat also carries a higher prestige in a sense.

It's basically up to the owner. I wouldn't mind either, but I like warranty so I'd get a low mileage hellcat a year or two after they came out.

You're talking about another 200 ft lbs of torque over the GTR. It's a rather large difference and if you consider that the Jeep may still be used for towing it's a very significant problem to overcome.

Re: How many would buy a Jeep Hellcat/TrackHawk.......

While you guys wait for the Hellcat, I am taking delivery on my '17 SRT this week-end!

I have finally decided that 475HP is enough for my tow rig/winter drive......

Best to you all!

I would be more than happy to get one !
The only question is what would I get for my kidneys at that time?
Will it cover those 707hp ???

It is AWD.. and they produce a $hit load of power with a V6 twin turbo. That why am confident that they can help

Re: How many would buy a Jeep Hellcat/TrackHawk.......

I'm ready to jump in, however I've been told that 1) the JGC Hellcat will likely market at $100,000+ and 2) they will likely not produce them without some reduction of the 707 version now being produced.

If this is the case it SORT of puts a damper (at least for me) on the model. Not to suggest that 650 HP (just for the sake of argument) isn't outrageous, but for 6 figures, I want the "full package". Also not exactly sure I want to spend that $ on what amounts to our family car. Annoying enough I have to stress and park the Viper 1/4 mile across every parking lot to avoid vandalism ... now I'll have to carry my family's mall shopping spree across that same distance to my $100G Jeep!
