As we speak, more than 12,000 Hellcats have been built (Challenger + Charger). Four months into the 2nd model year, demand is still extremely strong.

if i want to go off road ill buy an actual 4X4

if anything id like it even lower ex factory

i have had another softroader with single speed transfer case and less clearance than the srt and it did everything i needed it to, if i was tackling terrain that required lockers and lowrange, i sure as shit wouldnt be taking a 100k car there
But the fact it doesn't have air suspension that will allow you to raise the ground clearance is the real killer. If it had just that one feature I'd be seriously considering it for my next car.

To add some numbers:
Off road 2 setting for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo: 10.7"
Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT: 6.8"

That isn't a minor difference. That is a world of difference.

Hmmmmm, for the price of the Porche Cayenne Turbo, one could get an Overland and a SRT.

Oh, come on now. Will you stop with the practical financial thinking already!

Not very useful for those of us who live in urban areas and pay for garage. I don't need two cars, I need one good one. Also, I spend 90% of my time driving to and from work - where I want the power of the SRT but the ability to tackle crappy conditions of the Overland (those of us in the Northeast are about to be killed by a snowstorm). Two cars isn't helpful for that.

I drove my 14 srt with roadmagnet drop springs and blackops lip kit in 18" of snow last winter. I went places that 4x4 trucks couldn't go. I actually gave police and neighbors rides up an 1/8 mule hill into our neighborhood that awd explorers, hondas, chevys and other vehicles could not get up. That was enough to prove to me the ability of the jeep srt in inclement weather or situations. Not one bit of damage...and anyone whos seen my truck will tell you it looks better than new. Heres a pic from the parking lot at work.

What did the lift kit (I assume "lip kit" = "lift kit") involve?
