2007 srt8

New here and contemplating between two Grand Cherokees. The first being a 2012 Laredo Altitude with the 5.7L or a 2007 SRT8. The SRT8 has 35k on the odometer and Im pretty confident I can get it for around $25k. I will obviously run a Carfax on it but is there anything else I should be looking for? I am going to see it Wednesday, looks MINT in pics! Thoughts?

Re: 2007 srt8

Hmm.....Out of the 2 choices I would probably go with the Altitude...probably...maybe...or maybe it would depend on how I felt after a couple of good test drives. Now if it was an 08 or newer SRT, that would make the choice a bit harder, it may sway me more towards the SRT! But you have to be the one to love it so go drive both and see which one fits ya best! Good luck and have fun choosing!

Re: 2007 srt8

test drive. look for inner tire wear. when you test drive, turn of traction control and listen for clicking/clunking from start /stop and while turning. those are 2 biggest issues on the SRT8. if all looks and feels good, than 25K isn't a bad deal at all.

Re: 2007 srt8

i think 25k is a great buy with 35k mileage. I drool everytime i see a SRT Jeep so i would shoot for the SRT. Cant lose with either, the new GC tops it w/ prolly everything cept peformance

Re: 2007 srt8

Thanks for all ur input. To confuse things more I found a 2010 SRT8 today that is a CPO. Dealer I asking $37.5 and it has 20k miles on it. I think I might go that route considering the 7yr/100,000 warranty it comes with. Thanks again for all ur help and I will hopefully have my mind made up tomorrow after test driving the SRT!

The OP probably already made the decision as it was last may. Love the SRT though. Fell in love with the wk1. Ended up getting a 14 last year though.
