Working on putting in the links and swaybars and go to put the tire back on and see this. If I take it to the dealer will I get any money towards a new tire?! FAWK.
Go to a goodyear service center...Tread seperation is a well known issue! They should be able to help you out. At the least they should be able to pro-rate the tire.
went to goodyear msrp is 613 per tire, they got it down to 350'ish told them id buy one off the forums for under 150 and be back for an alignment. FORUMS FTMFW!
He printed out a sheet and it said 613.00 for one and I just laughed, pulled out my Palm Pre and showed him people selling them on the forums for under 150.00 and he was like "oh wow"
Picked up a used one off the other site for 100.00 shipped, just needs to hold me over until spring.
350 is more accurate for one new. dont you just love how they pro-rate tires in a way that you still end up paying full msrp. i have the nitto 420s on mine, you could probably get a whole set for the price of 2 front gy's
the guy also mentioned I should bring the jeep in to replace all the tires at the same time, I told him I just needed one to hold me over so I could get better tires in the spring, and he asked how I would improve on the run flats as they are top of the line, and I was like oh I'm not going to buy goodyear again I'm going to get nittos lol.
