Lol I wouldn't do your research

Also dude I was in your shoes once with my 5.7 and honestly I just ended up getting an SRT. It was a much better foundation to build on

Re: Build my own srt8

Yea but it doesn't have elsds and 4wd Lo which are big pluses. I'm looking at at least 8-10k to trade up which is quite a bit. Wish I had one tho. . I'm hoping to get something in the middle of srt and my jeep. Fast as hell but able to conquer any terrain. BTW is frp the same as fiberglass for the front bumper?

Re: Build my own srt8

I'd love to trade up to but not going to happen. 2x what my 05 is worth.

My front bumper, wheels, and roof rack are all off craigslist.

Re: Build my own srt8

I think doing a bumper, 6.4l stroker, suspension, and brakes, will still be cheaper than trading to an srt8. But man do those srt8s hold their value. Another 10 years from now they will probably be worth what are 05s are worth now.

I can always add srt wheels and tires for 200 more I got a guy willing to trade for my wheels and tires. The way I see it is more Hp, less money, dual speed transfer case, and higher resale for custom car. I know it's messy but I get the pride of building it myself. I have figured out the prices already. Win win win what do you guys think?

Higher resale? Not a chance!!!
