Re: how does the SRT do in the snow?

let me just say..............

I LOVE MY JEEP SRT8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im still getting the hang of things and im reading the manuals front to back. i was going to take pics last night but the garage was too crowded with traffic and parked cars to get a good shot with out a ford tempo or civic in the shot. plus when i got outside it was 15* i said _uck this, haha. ill get some up in a different thread today. i took some iphone pics while waiting for my plates to be put on but ill save your eyes of the poor image quality. just wouldnt be right to show an srt8 in iphone quality.

and question, i know someone in another country an his mirrors are power foldaways like the higher end cars today. i know i dont have it in my srt8 but jeep couldve done a better job of reiterating the actual specs in the manuals and online abroad. i know its tedious but that option would be nice for americans too. correct me if my information is wrong.

Re: how does the SRT do in the snow?

I like the feature on cars where you put it in reverse and the mirrors tilt downwards so you can see the curb. I think you can have programmed at the dealer, no?

Re: how does the SRT do in the snow?

Exhaust is already wide open. You won't gain any HP's which is why you would modify in the 1st place, right? Do something like a CAI...Short change, easy to do and it actually improves performance.
Congrats on the new SRT!
It's an amazing ride. It amazes me more of how many people really don't know what it is.
I've been asked half a dozen times (with a hint of dissapointment)"You bought a Jeep?" Silly Fools.

I'd do the exhaust for sound, aftermarket mufflers and even catback systems really do not improve hp. CAI's will add a tiny amount of hp and they give it a cool sound coming from the engine bay. And I never heard of an srt8 until last year after I bought my WK and stumbled upon another Jeep website forum, then after I saw it I luved the look of it.
