Re: how much would...

not worried so much about insurance as its gas mileage. the 5.7 LXs get 15city/25highway which is fine for when i go on vacation. Thats the only thing thats keeping me from getting a SRT8GC right now unless someone can convince me different

Re: how much would...

If you are worried about gas mileage this is not the vehicle for you as it will eat gas like no tomorrow and some may say you need your own oil refinery for it.

As far as insurance, yeah there was no performance vehicle add on, but GEICO did ask me if it was an SRT. My insurance only went up like 30 bucks a month.

Re: how much would...

yeah gas is my biggest concern since we go to the mountains and the ocean, both about 3hours away... the RTs may not be the best on gas but its not bad on gas either lol

I still vote get the SRT8. How many trips are you going to take to the moutains/beach each year?

Re: how much would...

Re: how much would...

we'll see. The SRTGCs for less then $25k have few to many miles for my liking. I can pick up a Hemi AWD 300C or a Hemi Charger R/T both with less then 50kmiles for under $20k. The 5.7 Hemis are rated at 15mpgs city and 23mpgs highway compared to the 8city/12highway in the SRTGC. But if I had a garage I'd so be all over either a new Challenger or a SRTGC. Theres just something about leaving one out all day in my neighbor hood where a few cars have been broken into and cars have been egged a few times, that I dont like
