That seems high IMO for an 09 but what do I know! LOL! I spent under 30 for my 08 over a year ago.

My gas milage around town averages 13ish and on longer drives 15 to 16 mpg. I could probably do better but I'm not patient enough to leave the dang cruise on!

93 octane for us.

We don't have snow! Can't help you there.

We have an 08 because we wanted the black interior and HID's and this was the only one available when we wanted it, for a price we were willing to pay, and had exactly the options we wanted.

Re: so i'm considering an 09 SRT8....

seems high? Really? I've been looking around dealerships all over NY and 39 is on the cheaper side of the range for most of the SRT8's i've seen.

Re: so i'm considering an 09 SRT8....

Maybe it's just the normal Ny prices are higher on everything? I'm just going by what prices were last year in Florida, or maybe the prices have gone up? Either way, good luck on your search!

Oh, and I agree with making sure you have a warranty, it can get costly if you don't.

Re: so i'm considering an 09 SRT8....

Everyone now is charging a bundle for the SRT. I got mine last year new for 42k and it has every option.

Now I see 09-10's with just Opt group 1 for 42k. LOL

This is what happens when production on a vehicle comes to a halt.

Re: so i'm considering an 09 SRT8....

One thing I have not seen mentioned here yet is front end ground clearance. If you drive in heavy snow it looks like the SRT8's beautiful front end can be awfully low to the ground. Just something to consider I don't have a SRT8 but its always the first thing that comes to my mind when I look at a SUV and the front end hangs lower then some cars.

The Chevy Traverse is another one for example, prob a decent truck but when I saw one the front is literally inches off the ground. I don't see blasting through snow drifts a option when you like to keep your lower front end in one piece.

Re: so i'm considering an 09 SRT8....

i decided to get the 09 Overland Hemi instead. The little extra gas mileage, ease to get tires, a little more luxury, and winter benefits of having the Overland just all made the deal easier to take for the Overland and save 10k along the way.
