Re: Sorry im excited about this winter....

ok my personal thread GRAVEDIG

ok money is *absolutely ready* to buy my winters set up...money is not my top concern for the choice- bare in mind. its preference of mind thats throwing me off kilter.

i have a dilema that seems to never end...

ive decided to hear what other have to say about them. so heres whats been weighing in on my head.

black OEM wheels or comp grey REPS----

my hold offs (cons) im not going to completely murder out or even fully black out my truck so it would kinda look half ass or silly or undone with red tails and slightly tinted ambers up front- at least in my opinion. the chrome molding on the other hand i would leave chrome. im sure theres a different tune to every town/area/city/state on how cops perceive our blackout/murdered out jeep SRT8s. cops upstate hate flashy cars and to me a blackout/murdered out jeep SRT brings in just more attention that i would like by the troopers and hick town cops. besides the fact you can not see into my jeep except for the windshield.

what i like about them (pros) they are OEM JEEP SRT wheels. that alone is a lot said about a the structure and strength/durability of the wheels ill be driving on.

the grey reps on the other hand are more of a lowkey yet clean look- id say.
it wont clash with my red tails and tinted ambers and i think will look great on my truck. although some may say the chome molding will clash with the grey more soo than the black OEMs... i know how most people hate grey wheels on black cars--jeep SRT8--(judging by the reactions ive read on other forums...) i welcome your opinion here too. good or bad, spill it. im ready to buy my winter set up im using this thread as my last "life line" before i pull the trigger on the buck.

Re: Sorry im excited about this winter....

you see i already know full well its cop magnet... but thats not whats holding me back on black joe, the last bit about cops was just the icing on the cake not to be confused with the main reason at all.

lets not be silly joe, and let get this appointment on the road already@!!!!

Re: Sorry im excited about this winter....

I know bro. You are worried if you dont complete the look it will look stupid. Untinted tails on a blacked out Jeep doesnt look stupid. IMO

Re: Sorry im excited about this winter....

You can't go wrong either way bro...

Blacked out is definitely hot and the Grey wheels can never go wrong. Its a win win situation with either choice you make.

That's the best advice I can give you.
