Which year WK SRT8 to buy?

I figured that this would be the best place to post this question. Which year (2006-2010) would be the best to buy? I have seen advertised a 2006-$22K and a 2010-$38K. Let's say if mileage WAS equal and price wasn't a factor, which would you purchase. Do the newer models get progressively better? Thanks for any input.

Re: Which year WK SRT8 to buy?

I'm sure the SRT8 guys will pinch in, but the 2010 should be better off overall. Exterior modifications like OEM projectors and other visual modifications. I'm not sure about the performance - the experts will add on to that. Hope this helps.

2008 was the year with the most changes/upgrades so I would choose the best deal you can find on an '08-'10. The link below will show you all of the changes from 2006-2010:

Re: Which year WK SRT8 to buy?

As the 2 above said 08-10. 09-10 command a premium though. They also have the EVIC system, which the 08 did not come with. Other than that the differences are essentially negligible.

Re: Which year WK SRT8 to buy?

I have a 2009. I LOVE the interior of the '08+. The black leather, with extra leather wrapped options, and upgraded nav unit.

Definitely go '08+ if you can afford it.

For what it's worth, there were many 2010's with random options. Not many "fully loaded" I've even seen a 2010 without a nav screen. Your best bet at a fully loaded SRT is a 2009.
