Adding another OBDII device if desired

Some folks have asked me how they can add a second OBDII device when SmartStopStart is being used, such as a GPS tracker, or a Progressive Insurance 'Snapshot' device.

The answer is yes, but you need an inexpensive Y-adapter/splitter such as https://www.amazon.com/Diageng-Right...obdii+splitter. Make sure to use the 16 wire type, not the 9 wire type.
