Oooo, thats sweet, I will look in to that later. Thanks
http://www.airram.com/product.php?ca...productid=1341
Damn, thats alot for an adapter, But i guess its worth the price for true "bolt on" horse power. I did not see a "kit" or combo but if i cant get it from them where can i get an 08 intake besides the dealership? and how much to then run?

EDIT Never mind, found it. http://www.airram.com/product.php?ca...productid=1334

$514 for "bolt on:" Hp, Not too bad.

I wonder what it would produce for Hp with everything i want/have.

Exhaust,
CAI
08 Intake
Super chips
Power wire.

I hope that would get it close to 300Hp

Airram.com is a dangerous website for someone on a budget. LOL

I don't wanna rain on anyone's parade but when I say HP I mean to the wheels. It doesn't matter if you make 2K HP if it doesn't get to the ground. With that being said your not gonna get 300 HP with just a few bolt ons. It's not that easy, I wish it were. I have been to the dyno and you would be surprised to see what some cars put down and you also leave the dyno with more respect for when someone says a big HP number (and usually a bruised ego because no one ever makes the power they think they will).

I saw a 2WD 4.7 Ram lay down 175HP and a HEMI only make In the low 200's. I also seen a built 383 only make a 370HP run.

Honestly I dont know....but i doubt you would get to 300 hp with this. I have a set of cams and i hope to be close to 300 hp....and like scjeep4.7ho says....thasts not at the wheels

OK, that is fine, it was just wishful thinking to get it to 300hp with bolt on mods. I knew it would not be WHP either. After reading what dyno test results actually show for WHP that makes me feel a little better about my little 4.7.

Realistically engine and performance mods wont happen until after christmas, i just like to plan things out for the future so i know what i am up against.

Everything i do to this jeep needs to be low key as far as install and noticability. (i dont want things to be visually noticable to family and my finace. sneaky sneaky lol)

All things will happen in due time, i like keeping it simple, bolt on and straight forward for mods like these.

So true, I remember watching a horsepower TV show a few years ago on spike where they had a 98 mustang gt on the dyno. Stock it put down like 185

They claim a 25% loss give or take on AWD... That's a big chunk
