Ran a new PB last night that's nothing really to be proud of. I went email@example.com instead of my old firstname.lastname@example.org. I can't hit 107 to save my life. I was hoping for at least a 12.5 with the new dyno tune and TCM. I ran my fastest with the TCM in. I think I screwed myself though at the track. After I ran my 12.61 I tried swapping back to my stock TCM and reset the adaptives and I leaned it out 1.5% of WOT fuel. Didn't help. Fastest I went then was 12.65. I added the fuel back in and went 12.63. I should have left everything alone and keep trying. I had a feeling that tuning it and resetting the TCM Adaptives might take the truck a few passes to "relearn". Oh well, there's next week and then they're closed for winter...... which is only closed for December.
They open back up in Jan.
Air wasn't the best either. I was driving through patches of fog on the way there. I might try running this Sat. during T&T during the daytime and see if that helps with hopefully less Humidity.
There were some pretty quick cars last night for sure. Definitely a bad night to forget my Camera. I met a guy named Alf from the site with his 08 GCSRT and he ran 3 13.6's@100. A GTR that ran a best 11.02, a Noble running mid 11's. I ran an M6 for my last run. He went 13.08@119
!! He launched in 2nd and was running my ass down pretty fast. At the end on the track he flew by me like I was sitting still. His best of the night was a 12.7 with no traction. A guy in a bone stock Mercedes CL65 BiTurbo ran a best 11.7. That thing was pretty sweet. A Rail Dragster running a I-4 with a BIG ASS turbo on it ran a best 7.5@191. That was the coolest..... well, no there was a 80's VW Rabbit running a best 10.5! 507fwhp and weighed 1800lbs.
Must be nice to be that lite.
