Hitting the track next Sunday - Any tips?

Well, I've decided I'm going to head up to the track to see what she'll do in the 1/4 mile as is - stock tune.

I'm guessing I'll be running mid to low 15s but at the same time I don't know if my TB is killing power right now rather than adding it!

However, I've never been to the track before and I'm just wondering if you guys have any tips to share? Just put Tow/Haul mode on and mash the gas or do a little power braking too?

Thanks in advance for any input, I'll be sure to post up how I got on next Sunday night and if possible get a video of the run(s) too.

Re: Hitting the track next Sunday - Any tips?

Posted this in the WJ section, but just to update here I got 15.6 secs. Super consistent.

Tried power braking to 1300rpm and just mashing it - same 15.6 sec. Think I need to brush up on the reaction times though!

Don't know if the 30 mph cross wind was helping me either.

T'was a fun day and now I know what she'll do stock.
